The 2010 OMEA District IV Junior High Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event will be held at North Ridgeville High School on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Entry Deadline is Saturday February 27, 2010. Entries postmarked after this date will be returned. There is a new entry program. Please be sure you down load the current edition. Applications using the old program will be returned. Please follow the directions. E-mail your entry to BillDavis@nrcs.k12.oh.us Your email should contain the file created by the program as an attachment. This gives us a heads up to keep an eye out for your entries. Please note that the deadline for all required material does not change because you are faxing or e-mailing. DO NOT SEND DISKS OR CDs. E-mail is the only way that entries can be processed.
Directors teaching in multiple districts or schools must send a separate entry and check for each school. All choral/instrumental entries may be sent together or separately by department. The fee structure for contest is the same as last year. Solos are $11.00 and Ensembles are $15.00. Once again this information is available on the OMEA website. All participating directors are required to be members of OMEA. A copy of your membership card must accompany the entries. Be sure you are familiar with the rules and regulations. Schools that fail to follow instructions will have their entries returned to them. Please avoid placing any of us in an embarrassing situation by carefully reading the directions with the Data Entry Program and processing the paperwork required to ensure that payment is received on time.
